This group considers new scientific developments, discoveries and technologies that could impact our lives in the future. We consider anything scientific across a wide range of disciplines (eg astronomy; health; social science; farming practices etc) The subject for each month is agreed by members in advance and we take it in turns to present that topic to the group based on personal knowledge or research. All are expected to carry out a little research to enable lively informed discussions around that topic. The group is held in members homes.
