Meeting Calendar

A monthly meeting is held normally on the first Tuesday of every month. There is a talk by a visiting speaker (except at the AGM in June and the Christmas party in December) and tea and biscuits afterwards. The venue is the Hall at St James Road Methodist Church, Shirley, SO15 5HE. Doors open at 1.30 pm - please don't come in before this time because we are still setting up, unless you want to help with the chairs, in which case you are very welcome!

Members - Please remember to bring your current year membership card (2026/27 has a blue coloured stripe). You will need this to ‘sign’ in (we scan the barcode which is much quicker than finding you on a paper list).

Visitors - You are very welcome to attend one of our monthly talks free of charge (but we do ask for a small donation for our nominated charity). Please sign in as a visitor and visit the groups desk and social events desk at the back of the hall to find out about our other activities. The talk will begin at 2pm.

Please note that under the conditions of our renting the hall, no dogs are permitted except assistance dogs.
